Summer Faye Harris is a filmmaker and actress located in Buffalo, NY. In 2024, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Buffalo State University with a double major in Television and Film Arts, a highly selective program which only admits 15 students per year, and Theater.
Summer has dozens of credits across several different departments in film, most prolific in Art Department, Directing, Casting, Editing, and Marketing. In 2024, she was the Production Designer and Casting Director for Emmy Award Winner Tom Fontana’s film “The Wrong Road,” a 30-minute short shot in WNY.
Summer has also appeared in numerous live theater, musical theater, and onscreen film productions as lead and supporting roles since 2013. She’s won the Park Players Theater award in 2018, won the TFA Pioneer Award for Best Actress in 2021 for the film “Inner Bloom,” and won Casting Hall Productions Best Lead Actress in a Play in 2022 for her role Lady Macbeth in “The Tragedy of Macbeth.”
Summer has been a creator and storyteller ever since she could remember. She is a determined and high spirited individual willing to take on tasks of any kind. She has self produced, directed, edited, and written several shorts of her own and loves to collaborate with others, she is always ready to take on a challenge and put her love and passion into it all!
