Summer Faye Harris is an actress, artist, filmmaker, and writer born and raised in Buffalo, New York. Her passions for acting and storytelling began in late middle school while acting onstage for live theater. Since then, Summer has appeared in numerous live theater, musical theater, and film productions as lead and supporting roles, won the Park Players Theater award in 2018, won the TFA Pioneer Award for Best Actress in 2021 for the film “Inner Bloom,” and has self-produced, directed, written, edited, and acted in several short films of her own.
Summer is currently attending Buffalo State University for her B.A with a double major in Theater and Television and Film Arts (TFA), which only accepts 15 students a year. At Buffalo State, she has been involved as a member in several student-run organizations, such as Casting Hall Productions, Studio 716, and Friday Night Live!
As a member of Casting Hall Productions since 2019, she has acted in several of their Mainstage shows, including Macbeth as Lady Macbeth, and has served as the Audience Services Manager (2021-2022) and interim Secretary (2021). With Studio 716, she has partaken in several short films as a crew member, writer, and actor since 2019. With the improv comedy troupe, Friday Night Live! (FNL), she was a cast member from 2021-2023 and was involved with creating and posting content for their social medias.
Summer Faye Harris loves to collaborate and create ideas and content on projects of any kind. She loves the evolution of what it is to create a story, threading every little detail along the way.
